Joint Ventures with Local Partners

We establish strong relationships with local partners through strategic joint ventures to support customers in Saudi Arabia, the region and beyond.

  • Sadara Chemical Company: A joint venture developed by Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) and The Dow Chemical Company, Sadara Chemical Company (Sadara) was formed in 2011 and construction of the Sadara Manufacturing Complex began in 4Q, 2011. With 26 world scale manufacturing plants, Sadara is the largest chemical complex ever built in a single phase. Sadara achieved full commercial operation of all its 26 units in September, 2017.
  • Saudi Acrylic Monomer Company (SAMCo): A joint venture with Tasnee producing Acrylic Acid and Butyl Acrylate in Jubail.
  • Arabian Chemical Company (Latex) Ltd. (ACC Latex): ACCL, based in Dammam, is a joint venture with E.A. Juffali & Brothers producing latex for the carpeting and construction industry.
  • Arabian Chemical Polyurethane Systems House (ACCPU): based in Jeddah, is a business alliance with E.A. Juffali & Brothers to produce polyurethane systems for various applications.
